Visibility button in WordPress – display widgets only on desired pages

Ever since moving from Joomla! to WordPress I have been missing one specific feature – ability to make widgets appear on only certain pages.

Now I have accidentally discovered that visibility button has appeared in my widgets list. How did it happen? Was it a result of an update? No.

I have Jetpack installed. Jetpack has a widget visibility feature that it adds to your WordPress installation after you activate Jetpack.

Using Jetpack-s widget visibility feature I am able to make say ads from Google AdWords in a text widget or latest posts widget appear only on certain pages.

This feature makes Jetpack my must-have plugins for installation in any WordPress site. Why Jetpack and no other solution? Because they’re trustworthy and I really like to keep my installations packed only with trusted plugins.

Would be nice if WordPress included widget visibility as a core feature that it really should be, but right now this solution works well for me whenever I need to display widgets only on certain pages.
